RECYCLING AND UP-CYCLING SLEEP EQUIPMENT

There's a lot of waste in sleep healthcare. Whether due to patients updating an old CPAP device for a newer model or receiving extra CPAP supplies they don't need, CHI-PAP aims to reduce waste in the system by redistributing these would-be unutilized resources to our patients. All donated devices undergo inspection, quality control testing, and cleaning before they are dispensed to patients. For hygiene/infection prevention reasons, only previously unused CPAP supplies (masks, tubing, etc) are dispensed to patients.

What Donationations Do We Accept?

Used or new CPAP devices

We accept CPAP devices* from any of the following manufacturers:

ResMed
Philips Respironics
Fisher & Paykel
Luna

*We prefer functional devices, but we will also accept nonfunctional devices for parts.

Used or new BI-LEVEL devices

We accept bi-level/BIPAP/VPAP devices* from any of the following manufacturers:

ResMed
Philips Respironics

*We prefer functional devices, but we will also accept nonfunctional devices for parts.

Used or new ASV devices

We accept adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV) devices* from any of the following manufacturers:

ResMed
Philips Respironics

Unused masks and Headgear

Provided they have not been previously used, we accept all models and sizes of CPAP masks and mask supplies, including:

Full face mask
Nasal mask
Nasal pillow mask
Mask cushions
Nasal pillows replacements
Mask headgear
Chin strap

Unused CPAP/BIPAP tubing

Provided they have not been previously used, we accept the following tubing:

Standard CPAP tubing (22 mm inner diameter)
Heated CPAP tubing (any manufacturer)
Oxygen-capable CPAP tubing (eg ResMed ClimateLinxe Oxy tubing)
Standard oxygen tubing (4 mm inner diameter)

Unused CPAP/BIPAP Humidifiers, Water Chambers, and filters

Provided they have not been previously used, we accept CPAP humidifiers, water chambers, and filters for the following manufacturers:
